Tom A. Daamen

Biographie :
Dr. Tom A. Daamen is Assistant Professor in Urban Development Management (UDM) at Delft University of Technology. Tom is an expert strategist for the development of waterfront zones in urbanizing delta regions, and is deeply involved in several academic research, education and advisory projects on the fringe of spatial planning, real estate, public infrastructure, economic development and urban governance. In Delft, Tom lectures in several undergraduate, graduate, and professional courses. He supervises graduate as well as PhD research projects, and has been a guest lecturer at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Amsterdam School of Real Estate, Antwerp University, Tongji University Shanghai, and Columbia University in New York City. Since 2018, Tom leads a special research group in Delft that studies and designs collaborative, public-private governance arrangements for complex sustainable urban projects. The group is funded by the Stichting Kennis Gebiedsontwikkeling (Foundation of Area Development Knowledge) of which Tom is the executive director. Répertoire des membres  Arrow
