Carl Koelbel Koelbel and Company 5291 E. Primary focus is on development of land currently held by the firm, as well as identifying and securing future development opportunities. Additionally, started the company’s Koelbel Urban Homes division, focusing on development of for-sale infill homes. 2007-2008: Research Associate at the Urban Land Institute in Washington, DC, assisting senior resident fellows in various research projects with a focus on infrastructure and its effect on land-use patterns. Education Master of Business Administration degree, with a concentration in real estate and finance, from the University of Colorado in Boulder in 2010. Bachelor of Arts degree in economics and international relations from the University of Southern California in 2006.
