Biographie : Jeff Woolson serves as Managing Director of CBRE's Golf & Resort Group. Since 1991, Jeff has been personally involved in the sale of over $2 billion of properties in 22 states and 10 foreign countries. These leisure properties include golf clubs and resorts, ski resorts, marinas, master-planned golf communities and developable land. Over 90% of the transactions Jeff has completed involved the representation of owners, where he has employed a variety of marketing techniques including traditional, sealed bid, and open outcry auction. Client: Yellowstone Mountain Development Kingsmill Resort & Spa, Williamsburg, Virginia - Represented the seller of this AAA four diamond resort situated on 2,900 acres that included 63 holes of golf (PGA and LPGA Tour host), a full-service marina, conference center, tennis center, spa and fitness center. CBRE sold this property once in 2010 and again 2017. Client: Anheuser-Busch and Anschutz Investment Company Troon North Golf Club, Scottsdale, Arizona - Widely recognized as one of the preeminent daily fee facilities in the world, Troon North features two courses, The Monument and Pinnacle that were designed by icons Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, both ranked by Golf Magazine among the “Top 100 Courses You Can Play.” CBRE exclusively represented the seller PCCP in the sale which occurred in September 2016. The Eagle, Rancho Mirage, California - The Eagle spans more than 600 undeveloped acres, covering nearly a square mile in the affluent City of Rancho Mirage. Considered the last great large parcel for development in the Coachella Valley, this desirable development property features zoning that allows for residential homes, resort hotels and recreational amenities. CBRE sold this in March 2018 for clients Stark Investments and Difference Capital. Temenos Resort, Anguilla, Caribbean - CBRE exclusively represented the seller, Credit Suisse, in the marketing and sale of this world-class oceanfront resort community (most of which was under construction) including Anguilla’s only golf course, a highly-rated Greg Norman design and upscale clubhouse. This property sold in August 2011. Carton House Golf Resort, Dublin, Ireland - Located 30 minutes west of Dublin in County Kildare, Carton House is one of Ireland’s most prestigious sporting resorts. The five-star hotel features 165 bedrooms, including 18 suites in the 18th century Palladian mansion along with 36-holes of championship golf. CBRE exclusively represented the seller Chockablock LTD which sold March 2017. Las Vegas Country Club, Las Vegas, Nevada - Las Vegas Country Club is an international treasure in the heart of the Las Vegas Resort Corridor, with senior water rights and incomparable views of the Las Vegas Strip. The clubhouse, with its striking architecture, was a frequent hangout of the Las Vegas elite including Elvis Presley, Dean Martin and Frank Sinatra. CBRE exclusively represented the members in this sale which occurred in December 2017. Frost Creek, Eagle, Colorado - Frost Creek (formerly known as Adam’s Rib Ranch) is a private mountain golf community that occupies more than 2,600 acres in Colorado’s greater Vail Valley. This transaction included 91 finished lots ranging from four to ten acres that surround the golf course and five upscale spec homes that range from 2,800 to 6,400 square feet. Future development plans include a 500-acre private equestrian center and an expansion of the community on more than 1,000 acres currently utilized for farming and ranching. CBRE exclusively marketed and sold for client Fred Kummer in March 2015. Moonlight Basin, Big Sky, Montana - CBRE represented the seller Lehman Brothers in the sale of this 7,500-acre ski resort and community, including 3,700 acres of developable land, the Moonlight Lodge and the Reserve at Moonlight Basin, a 9-hole Jack Nicklaus Signature course. This property sold in October 2013.
