Katherine Abbott

传：Kathy Abbott is the President and CEO of Boston Harbor Now envisioning and promoting a thriving harbor that belongs to everyone, is environmentally healthy, resilient to climate change, and fosters economic and community health and wellbeing. Upon assuming this role, Kathy has come full circle. The young college student whose career began as a manager on the Boston Harbor Islands has become a leader who is charged with planning for and promoting those very same waters. Kathy was the founding President of Boston Harbor Island Alliance and has also held executive leadership positions at the Trustees of Reservation and Tower Hill Botanic Garden. She has also served as the first Commissioner of the Massachusetts Department of Conservation and Recreation. Her experience as an executive and entrepreneur in government and nonprofits uniquely qualifies her to build upon the successes of the current waterfront renaissance.
