Miles Loo

传：Miles Loo, Jr. joined Newmark’s Valuation & Advisory in 2017 in the Downtown Los Angeles office, where he serves as Vice Chairman and is the Global Practice Leader for Data Centers & Life Science in Newmark's Valuation & Advisory department. Mr. Loo is well recognized as the industry’s leading appraiser of data center properties. His experience includes advising private equity funds, institutional investors, large pension funds, Fortune 500 companies, cloud companies and Global IT conglomerates on investments on all types of data centers, including mission critical, disaster recovery data centers, colocation facilities, carrier hotels, internet gateways and life science properties. The assignments involve data centers owned and/or operated by Fortune 500 companies across numerous industries, as well as Uptime Institute Site Certified Tier III and Tier IV facilities, U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) LEED Platinum, Gold and Silver, and state and federal disaster recovery data centers. He has led valuations of large portfolio valuations spanning multiple countries across six (6) continents (Africa, Asia, Australia/Oceania, Europe, North America and South America). He is a regularly invited speaker and moderator at many of the major data center conferences in key markets across North America, EMEA and APAC regions. He is also involved in the data center industry as a member of 7x24 Exchange, AFCOM, and Infrastructure Masons. In addition, Mr. Loo has achieved the Counselors of Real Estate® (CRE) designation, Fellowship with the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (FRICS), RICS Registered Valuer and Accredited Tier Specialist™ (ATS) designation with the Uptime Institute.
