Evgeny Munkov

传：As the director of investments at BBX Capital, Evgeny is responsible for the full lifecycle of the investments across various asset classes for investments throughout complex multiparty capital stacks and diverse investment roles and types. He provides advanced micro- and macro-level insights from a portfolio, market intelligence, and capital markets perspectives to spearhead the weighted risk approach to investments, strategic portfolio assemblage and management, and asset-specific selection process within both expanding and contracting market climates. Being bilingual in English and Russian, Evgeny is a seasoned investment specialist with over 14 years of vast domestic and international experience in various facets of investments, finance, and real estate with a particular focus on mid-/large- scale investments in commercial real estate and middle-market companies. Having held U.S. based and international positions with BBX Capital, Walker & Dunlop, Societe Generale, and Uralsib, he is a well-versed investment and credit professional with diverse experience that ranges from opportunity-driven entrepreneurial investment decisions to a wide spectrum of investments with large institutional players including mandates within the space of private equity and family office businesses. Evgeny is a CFA Charterholder. He also has earned an MS in International Economics and an MBA in Finance and International Business. Being actively involved with such organizations as Urban Land Institute, Leadership Broward (Class XLI), CFA Institute (Executive Board Member and Programming/Events Chair), Miami Finance Forum, ALPFA, Economics and Finance Association at NSU, and CRE Finance Council, Evgeny cultivates industry relationships and business opportunities and spins the circle of the continuous capital and deal flows.
