Biography: William H. Whitney, Ph. D. - # 16910 Principal Whitney & Whitney, Inc. September 20, 2017 Experience: Principal, Whitney &Whitney, Inc., a real estate firm serving both the real estate development industry and government agencies on planning and real estate development issues. Bill's areas of specialization include the following: Land development programs; Waterfront development opportunities, including ports and recreational marinas; Resort development programs featuring major recreational amenities such as golf courses, health spas and second home complexes; Regional, specialty and entertainment-oriented retail shopping centers; Arenas and special event centers; Public/private partnerships; Large scale open space programs. Before the establishment of Whitney & Whitney, Inc. Bill served with Arthur Anderson for nine years, the last three headquarters in the London office. Prior to joining Arthur Anderson he owned and managed real estate consulting firms in California for over 15 years. Education: Bill received his Ph. D from the Graduate School of Management, University of California Los Angeles in Urban Land Economics. He also performed graduate studies in Urban and Regional Planning at the University of Southern California and received an A.B in Political Science from Williams College.
