Robert Gardner, CEO and Co-founder of Rebalance Earth leads a boutique fund management firm dedicated to restoring natural infrastructure at scale across the UK. Rebalance Earth aims to mobilise over £10 billion in capital over the next decade, focusing on Nature restoration projects from 'source to sea'. At the heart of this mission is the RE(DARWIN) fund—"Rebalance Earth Delivering Adaptation, Resilience, and Water Infrastructure through Nature"—which invests in landscape-level projects to address critical environmental challenges such as flooding, drought, water quality, biodiversity loss, and carbon emissions. Rob provided an overview of their work and applied case study examples which can benefit the built environment.
