Brad Beelaert

Biography:
Brad W. Beelaert is a Managing Partner of WHI Collective Real Estate LP ("WHICRE") and a member of the Investment Committee. Mr. Beelaert is responsible for firm strategy as well as chiefly responsible for the firm’s asset management activities and forming new operating partner relationships. Prior to founding WHICRE, Mr. Beelaert established WHICRE’s legacy firm as a Founding Principal. Prior to that, he was a Vice President of Security Capital Research & Management (a subsidiary of JPMorgan Chase & Co). At Security Capital, he focused primarily on the underwriting and structuring of privately negotiated equity investments in real estate operating companies, across geographies and product types, on behalf of a $2 billion opportunistic investment vehicle. Prior to joining Security Capital, he was a Senior Associate in the Chicago office of Standard & Poor’s Corporate Value Consulting, formerly a division of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP. At Standard & Poor’s, Mr. Beelaert advised clients in a wide range of industries on valuation-related matters in connection with mergers and acquisitions, litigation, and tax-related concerns. Mr. Beelaert is a member of the Urban Land Institute and served as Chairman of ULI’s Small Scale Development Council.
