Biography:
Scott is a Director of Little's Regen CoLab - a firmwide resource for sustainability, resilience and regenerative practice. With a foundational focus on Health, Energy, Water and Social Equity (HEWS) Little leverages an Integrative Proces (IP) and a proprietary Project Framework to help clients achieve more holistically sustainable, regenerative outcomes on projects. IP and Living Systems Frameworks help project teams consider the interconnected nature of any project to its surroundings including neighborhood, community, watershed and more, revealing the reciprocal influences that affect Financial, Communal, Social, Human and Environmental health and viability. (Ask me about this!) He previously served as Workplace Studio Principal for Little's Tysons (formerly Arlington), VA office. With over 38 years of experience including 7 in construction, he has worked on a wide range of project, including Office base building, Mixed Use, Repositioning and Corporate Interiors projects for both local and national clients. His responsibilities included client relationship management, business development, project staffing coordination and scheduling of all work for the Workplace Studio, as well as staff development and team growth. Scott is an active community volunteer, having served on numerous committees and volunteer boards, including: • He is a current member (since 2017) of the Redevelopment and Reuse National Product Council (Blue Flight). He previously served for two years on ULI’s Sustainability Programs committee. He was a founding co-Chair of the ULI Washington Sustainability and Resilience Council. He served on the ULI Florida Avenue (Union Market) Technical Assistance Panel. • He is a current member of the Energy Subcommittee for Arlington County’s Commission for the Conservation of Energy and the Environment (C2E2) and is a past Chair for the Community Energy Plan Implementation Review Committee (CEPIRC) for Arlington County. He has been engaged with the County for over 14 years assisting the development of a 40-year comprehensive Community Energy and Sustainability Plan, which was formally adopted into the County’s overall Master Plan in July of 2014. • He served for 11 years on the board of CoreNet’s Mid-Atlantic Chapter, as Co-chair of the annual Tech Symposium, Co-chair of the Community Outreach Committee, Co-chair of the Sponsorship Committee, a member of the ERS Program Committee, Chair of the Annual Golf Event, and member of the Educational Programs Committee.
