Biography: Planner - Advisor - Developer. Previously led current $400M real estate acquisition program for VTA’s BART Silicon Valley Extension, EBRC light rail extension, and other transportation program. Oversee VTA public-private partnership development for two dozen-plus sites for Transit-Oriented Development, for 12 million sf of mixed-use and mixed-income development at buildout; with 1,600 multifamily units in pipeline with 900+ affordable units. Started new Transit-Oriented Communities program seeking to focus most of Silicon Valley’s growth through 2050 within 1/2 mile of current and future transit corridors. Three-plus decades experience as public agency official, consultant, and developer working on large scale urban development, military base reuse, downtown revitalization, placemaking, open space, and institutional uses. Work with transit agencies and local agencies throughout US on development feasibility, public financing, and public-private partnership development.
