Douglas Moritz
Biography: September 2004 Doug Moritz is the Managing Director of the Multifamily Lending division of Prudential Mortgage Capital Company, In this role, he is primarily responsible for overseeing Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac lending operations.He is located in McLean, Va. Prudential Mortgage Capital Company is one of the nation's leading providers of commercial mortgages on multifamily, retail, office, industrial, and hotel properties. We offer one of the most comprehensive lines of real estate finance products including fixed rate, floating rate and interim/bridge loans; Fannie Mae (DUS) and FHA lending; and mezzanine financing. Before joining Prudential, Doug was an Executive Vice President of The WMF Group, where he led the company's multifamily production efforts for eleven years. WMF was one of the largest commercial mortgage firms in the country before being acquired by Prudential in 2000. Prior, Doug held senior positions at Clark Financial Services and the National Co-op Bank (NCB) Doug has served on the Board of Directors of the Metro Washington Mortgage Bankers Association and was the President in 1997 and Chairman of the Board in 1998. He is currently on the Executive Committee of the National Multi Housing Council. He is also active in NAREIT, the National Housing Conference, the National MultiFamily Housing Council and National Housing Trust. Doug holds a BA from Colgate University.
