Jeanne Myerson

Biography:
Jeanne Myerson of San Francisco, California, is a real estate industry leader with four decades of experience in commercial real estate investment. Myerson is an experienced and strong member of Public and Private Company Boards Of Directors (BRE Properties, Inc. and Berkshire Real Estate Investments). Skilled in Governance, Asset Management, Compensation, Real Estate Private Equity and Finance, Commercial Investment Properties, and Real Estate Transactions. She founded The Belgrave Group in 2015, an independent consulting firm specializing to address complex governance problems for private and generational family companies, help define business strategies and untangle unusual business issues. From 2016-17 she served as the CEO of the Americas region of the Urban Land Institute. She previously served as president and CEO of The Swig Company for 17.5 years. Before joining The Swig Company in 1997, Ms. Myerson was president and chief executive officer of Bailard Biehl & Kaiser Real Estate Investment Trust, a private REIT with a diversified, national investment portfolio. Prior to joining BBK, she was worldwide director of facilities and real estate for NeXT Computer, Inc., of Redwood City, Calif. Ms. Myerson joined NeXT from Metropolitan Life Real Estate Investments where she managed all aspects of real estate investment and finance, including acquisitions, dispositions, mortgage lending, property leasing, development, joint ventures and project workouts. Jeanne is a longtime member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI), enjoying her UDMUC Bronze Council engagement, has served on several Advisory Service Panels, most recently as Chair of a virtual panel and has been an Urban Plan volunteer. Myerson is a Trustee of Grinnell College, Grinnell, IA and chairs its Facilities Committee. In 1999 and 2001 through 2013 Ms. Myerson was recognized as one of the most influential women in the San Francisco business community by the San Francisco Business Times.
