Scott Malkin

Biography: Scott Malkin is founder and Chair of Value Retail PLC and of S.D. Malkin Properties. He is also co-founder and Chair of Value Retail China. These companies have developed and operate a group of experiential destinations known as The Bicester Collection (www.TheBicesterCollection.com). The Bicester Collection comprises a select group of fashion led, open air retail projects including Bicester Village outside of London which generate the highest retail sales per square foot in the world. The Villages serve the travelling luxury consumer, offering boutiques selling authentic surplus stock from the world’s top fashion brands. The Bicester Collection also includes UBS Arena (https://ubsarena.com/about-the-arena/) at Belmont Park, near John F Kennedy International Airport, developed in partnership with Oakview Group, and the award winning hotels The Seabird Ocean Resort and Spa (https://theseabirdresort.com/) and Mission Pacific Beach Resort (https://missionpacifichotel.com/), both on the beach in Oceanside, California. Scott is a graduate of Harvard College, Harvard Business School, and Harvard Law School. He serves on the boards of The New York Public Library, Tompkins Conservation, The Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, The University of Austin and Partners In Health. He is also the Governor of the NHL team the New York Islanders.
