Will Macht
Biography: Coincident with and following a career in mixed-use development I have been an Adjunct Professor of Urban Studies & Planning in the College of Urban & Public Affairs at Portland State University and the Center For Real Estate. I concentrate on the types of mixed-use, public-private partnerships and marketplaces pioneered by the Rouse Company, which I served as a Development Director. I have also been an Adjunct Professor of Architecture at the Architecture School of the University of Oregon/Portland Center where I have taught courses on urban development, housing & mixed-use to graduate architecture students. I started professional life following Princeton's Woodrow Wilson School of Public & International Affairs and UVA Law School with Senator Robert Kennedy and then as an international attorney with the U.S. Treasury and as International Counsel of Gates Rubber Co. I edit the Solution File for Urban Land and many of my articles are in that archive.
