Manny Steiner
Biography: Manny Steiner is Head of Leasing and Expansion in North America for Ingka Centres, where he is responsible for the leasing of the company’s existing and developing regional mixed use centers and retail districts with a focus on national and local retail, entertainment, and restaurant tenants. He has been recognized as a leader in the shopping center industry, in 2018 he was named to Chain Store Age’s 10 Under 40 and is frequently invited to judge, panel, or moderate regional and national events. Prior to joining Ingka, Manny worked for New England Development in Boston, MA and Trademark Property Company in Fort Worth, TX where he led the leasing of 2 million square feet of retail, including the luxury remerchandising of Market Street - The Woodlands and the redevelopment of Victory Park in Dallas. Manny began his retail real estate career in the family business where he leased Steiner + Associates’ 5 million square foot regional town center portfolio, and as Vice President of Steiner Entertainment, where he evaluated, developed, and oversaw the operations of leisure-time businesses including a chain of company-owned restaurants. Prior to joining Steiner + Associates, Manny spent five years in hotel operations and development where he held management, general management, and corporate-level positions with various hotel developers. Manny received an MBA in Commercial Real Estate from the University of Cincinnati; and a BA from the University of Florida where he graduated Omicron Delta Kappa. Believing that a generalist can solve problems as effectively as a specialist, he has completed diverse post-graduate studies ranging from jewelry making 59 urban planning.
