Biography:
Sandino L. Thompson is a community developer and thought leader with a passion for social innovation and inclusive development. He has over 20 years of experience successfully managing multimillion-dollar commercial and residential construction projects encompassing design/build, new construction, partial and complete renovation, and historic preservation throughout the United States. Mr. Thompson has combined this experience with an extensive number of community and economic development initiatives focused on family stability and neighborhood revitalization. He is heavily involved in the redevelopment efforts of Northeast Oklahoma City a traditionally African American community that has experienced generations of disadvantage and disinvestment. His activities include consultation design and investment in numerous projects and partnerships that improve the physical infrastructure of the built environment while expanding social infrastructure that provides for a more resilient and sustainable community. He has led public/private partnerships to positively impact human self-sufficiency through affordable housing, primary secondary and higher education reform, adolescent health and youth development, and adult education employment and workforce development through his executive roles at Public Strategies and It’s My Community Initiative. He holds a bachelor’s of science degree in Construction Management Engineering with a minor in Political Science from Oklahoma State University. Member Directory  Arrow
