Sondra Wenger

Biography:
Sondra Wenger is a senior executive and Head of Capital Markets at KBS Realty Advisors, where she leads institutional fundraising across separate accounts, co-investments, and funds. With a focus on pension funds, sovereign wealth entities, family offices, and endowments, she builds enduring capital partnerships by aligning investor goals with innovative structures and market-driven insights. As a member of the firm’s Investment Committee and executive leadership team, she works closely with acquisitions and asset management to drive strategic portfolio growth. Over her career, Sondra has led investment teams responsible for more than $17 billion in closed real estate transactions, contributed to raising $2.8 billion in committed capital, and structured over $9 billion in joint ventures. Her expertise spans core, value-add, and opportunistic strategies in both debt and equity across 50+ U.S. markets. She has held senior leadership roles at CBRE Investment Management, CIM Group, General Electric, and Equity Office Properties Trust. Sondra brings a disciplined, high-performance mindset to every endeavor—rooted in her background as a CPA and Ironman Canada finisher. Her board service reflects a deep commitment to civic engagement, innovative urban development, and advancing the real estate industry. She is currently a board member for New York Restoration Project, which brings green space to underserved communities, she serves on the boards of CA South Development and American Ventures, contributing strategic insight to innovation-driven urban platforms. She is also actively involved with the Urban Land Institute, where she serves as Membership Chair of the Urban Mixed-Use Development Gold Council. She regularly participates in panels, lectures, and thought leadership pieces, and has held prior leadership roles across several prominent real estate organizations.
