Biography:
Biography: Fabiola Yurcisin (she/her) is an urban planner, placemaker, and visual artist whose work focuses on advancing systemic change at the intersection of art, community, and the built environment. She has led numerous initiatives aimed at amplifying the voices of immigrant communities and promoting inclusivity in the creative economy of the DC, Maryland, and Virginia region. Using art as a tool for advocacy, she has exhibited her work nationally and internationally. As an urban planner at the Urban Land Institute's Terwilliger Center for Housing, Fabiola empowers cities to overcome housing production barriers to increase equitable access to opportunity.
