Mariia Zimmerman serves as USDOT’s Strategic Advisor for Technical Assistance and Community Solutions. In this capacity she is helping to coordinate efforts across the Department of Transportation to enable communities to access design, develop and deliver transformative infrastructure projects. Mariia comes to USDOT from MZ Strategies, LLC the urban planning and policy firm she founded in 2012.
