Richard Zen

Biography:
Richard serves as the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Trivium Asset Management. He is also affiliated with Trivium’s anchor investor as a family member. Before his role at Trivium, Richard accumulated over 7 years of experience at Phoenix Property Investors, a prominent private equity real estate fund in the APAC region, situated in Hong Kong. During his tenure, he successfully executed numerous acquisitions, disposals, and fundraisings, amassing a total of over $2 billion. Preceding his time at Phoenix, Richard was involved in hotel operations and investments at a listed Hong Kong developer. His professional journey commenced in public accounting at Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA accreditation. Richard's primary focus lies in direct equity transactions within Japanese hotels, Chinese and Hong Kong real estate, proptech, other PE/VC ventures, and real estate debt. Active in the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Hong Kong, he also holds the distinction of being one of its youngest Global Governing Trustees.
