Richard Zen

Biography:
Richard is Director at FIT Investment Corporation, a family office that primarily invests in or develops real estate. Prior to FIT, Richard spent over 7 years at Phoenix Property Investors, one of the top private equity real estate funds in the APAC region, based in Hong Kong. Successfully led multiple acquisitions, disposals, and new fundraisings totaling over $2 billion. Prior to Phoenix, Richard worked in hotel operations & investment for a listed Hong Kong developer. Prior to that, he started his career in public accounting at Ernst & Young, where he earned his CPA. Focused primarily on direct equity transactions in Japanese hotels, China and Hong Kong real estate, as well as proptech and other PE/VC, and also real estate debt. Member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) Hong Kong, and one of its youngest Global Governing Trustees. Graduated with honors, BSc in Business Administration from UC Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
