In this webinar, we learn best practices to develop large-scale mixed-use transit-oriented projects from Rick Vogel, Senior Vice President of the Related Companies. Rick has developed significant neighborhood-changing projects throughout the United States, Asia, and the Middle East for organizations such as the Related Companies, Silverstein Properties, Hines, and Ivanhoe Cambridge. 

Rick will provide lessons learned from both domestic and international development projects and will highlight why large-scale mixed-use projects exist, community engagement strategies, challenges of executing large-scale mixed-use projects, creating a sense of place, positioning and designing the primary uses, economic considerations, amongst other guiding principles. Rick currently serves as Related’s Project Executive for their $1.0 billion Frank Gehry designed Grand Avenue project located in Downtown Los Angeles.
