Lawrence Corson

Biografía: Larry Corson July 2017 Larry Corson serves as Co-President of Wilbow Corporation, a residential land development company focused on single family lot development in Texas. Corson was recruited to lead the company to a new level of growth through an accelerated land acquisition program, expansion of equity and debt capital relationships, and instilling an institutional approach to all aspects of the business. In a 30 plus year career focused on real estate investment and development, Larry has worked at a variety of real estate development and private equity firms. Most recently, Corson was Director of Residential Development for Cooper and Company, an international real estate development and private investment company with operations in the US and New Zealand. Corson was primarily responsible for the development of the Garden District, a luxury enclave of Brownstones and Condominiums located within Southlake Town Square, the internationally acclaimed mixed-use development located in Dallas. Prior to his position with Cooper and Company, Corson was the President and CEO of Crescent Resources, a real estate development company based in Charlotte, NC. Prior to Crescent, Corson was a Senior Vice President of Hunt Realty Investments, where he was responsible for the company's land development activities. Starting in the 1990's Corson was a Principal with Westbrook Partners where he ran several portfolio companies focused on residential and golf course development. Early in his career, Corson held positions with J.E. Robert Company, Trammell Crow Ventures, and Jones Lang Wootton Realty Advisors. Corson is a Full Member of ULI and is a member of the Silver Flight of the Community Development Council as well as serving on the leadership team of the local Community Development Council in North Texas. Corson's public service includes past positions as Mayor Pro Tem of the Town of Westlake and as a Trustee of Westlake Academy, the only publicly-owned open enrollment charter school in the State of Texas. Corson earned an MBA in Finance from Columbia University, and a B.S. in Accounting from High Point University.
