With over 2,200 attorneys and 46 offices worldwide, K&L Gates is one of the largest law firms in the world. Mr. Norton has been a practicing attorney for over 20 years and leads the Resort, Hospitality and Leisure practice globally for K&L Gates. He also leads the firm's commercial real estate and real estate development practice in South Carolina. Mr. Norton is very active in the Urban Land Institute. He currently serves on the Management Committee for the South Carolina District Council as the Chair of the South Carolina Coastal Division. He is also a member of the Recreational Development Council. Mr. Norton has been listed in Woodward/White's The Best Lawyers in America in real estate law since 2007, has been listed in South Carolina Super Lawyers, and is mentioned in Chamber and Partners USA in Real Estate law. He has maintained a Martindale Hubbell AV Rating since 2001. Mr. Norton received his A.B. from Dartmouth College in 1983 and his J.D. from the University of South Carolina in 1991, where he was the Editor in Chief of the South Carolina Law Review.
