Emerging Trends in Real Estate® is an annual series of trends and forecast publications that reflect the views of leading real estate executives in three global regions — the Americas, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region — as well as one Global Outlook report.
Undertaken jointly by PwC and the Urban Land Institute, Emerging Trends in Real Estate® provides an outlook on real estate investment and development trends, real estate finance and capital markets, property sectors, metropolitan areas, and other real estate issues.
Additional Programing for Emerging Trends in Real Estate® includes a General Session at Fall Meeting for the U.S. and Canada edition, launch webinars for Europe, APAC, and Global editions, and over 60 District and National Council events.
The outbreak of war in Ukraine has cast a long shadow over Europe, and real estate will have to deal with the economic and political fallout for the foreseeable future. The resulting surging energy costs, historically high inflation and rising interest rates have led to a decline in confidence in real estate businesses for 2023, reflecting a cautionary mood across the industry.
