Biography:
Mr. Amin has been an established industry professional and an executive in real estate development and construction for nearly 25 years, of which the past 15 years have been primarily focused in the Baltimore-Washington metro corridor. Jay is currently Vice President of Real Projectives, a project management consultancy and real estate advisory/professional services firm for a wide variety of clients nationally across the built environment and development sectors. Previously, he was Vice President at LGI Homes, heading up land acquisitions and development across the Mid-Atlantic region for the national homebuilder. Jay was also Development Director for Maryland Land Advisors, a boutique land brokerage and development services firm. Jay had founded VIA Consulting Group, which provided development consulting/advisory, project management, engineering and inspection services for commercial property owners, property managers, developers, and homebuilders. He was also a founding principal/co-owner of I-S-LAND Companies, a boutique land development consulting, project management, and land brokerage firm in Maryland that pursued opportunities in transit-oriented, mixed-use development, commercial-scale renewable energy, and market feasibility studies for residential development across the greater Baltimore-Washington region. Jay is an active member of the Urban Land Institute and the Maryland Building Industry Association. He has volunteered in ULI's UrbanPlan program at the high school, college/university, and graduate school levels, as well as a panelist with ULI Advisory Services. Jay is a licensed Professional Engineer and also holds a Real Estate Salesperson license. He earned his magna cum laude B.S. in civil engineering from Rutgers University-New Brunswick and his MBA from the University of Texas at Austin, McCombs School of Business. Member Directory  Arrow
