William Lashbrook

Biography:
William G. Lashbrook III Senior Vice President (Retired in 2020) PNC Real Estate- Joined the Bank of New York in 1973 joining the Real Estate Group in 1986. Bill joined MidLantic Bank in 1993 as the Real Estate Credit Officer and then PNC in a merger in 1996. Bill held a variety of executive positions in PNC Real Estate, expanding lending activities and integrating acquisitions, helping move a $6 Billion secured regional lending business into a nationwide platform of over $60 Billion. Bill was continuously involved in the evolution CRE regulation in the US. In 1993, he wrote the integration plan for FIRREA and FDICIA federal statutes passed in the wake of the S&L Crisis. Later at PNC, the CRE coding and collateral reporting platform he created allowed PNC to meet new OCC directed CRE exposure reporting of 2009 after the Great Recession, which evolved into the 2011 Dodd-Frank mandated stress testing for the largest banks. Bill assisted in the development and calibration of the internal CRE models to used meet CCAR, a Federal Reserve Large Bank Risk Capital program. These are now being used for CECL (an Accounting Lending Risk Reporting tool) as well. This work aligned capital charges to business practices. A ULI member since 1998, Bill is a ULI Trustee and Foundation Governor. He has served on ULI’s Americas Executive Committee, the WLI Executive Board, 10 Advisory Services Panels and is active in Urban Plan. Bill has been on various Product Councils in leadership roles before co-founding Redevelopment Reuse Council where is currently on the DEI Committee. Member Directory  Arrow
