Biografía: Tom co-leads the Capital Markets-Finance practice, of Jones Lang LaSalle. As Executive Managing Director, Tom focuses on both growing the Finance platform as well as the origination of debt and equity capital for projects and clients throughout the U.S. Since 2010, and under the leadership of Tom, Tom Melody and Mike Melody, JLL’s Capital Markets - Finance business has grown to over $25 billion in annual volume. The Capital Markets-Finance practice incorporates debt origination, equity origination, loan/note sales, advisory services, loan workouts & modification and asset resolution services. Prior to joining JLL Capital Markets, Tom was with CBRE/L.J. Melody & Company for 14 years, where he served as Vice Chairman. Prior to that he was a co-owner of Post Oak Partners, a Houston-based real estate finance firm. Tom has extensive experience in structuring and arranging debt, equity joint ventures, participating debt and other structured finance transactions. Other experience includes financing to-be-built developments as well as dispositions of institutional quality real estate.
