Karmi Palafox

Biographie : I am a place and city strategist with international experience in urban planning, economics, urban design, and policy. My work spans strategic planning for communities, islands, cities, infrastructure, and public spaces, including projects in mixed-use, residential, tourism, airports, and post-disaster rehabilitation. Currently, I am Principal Town Planner and NSW Planning Team Leader at Tract, leading complex urban projects that balance growth, resilience, and community needs in Australia. Previously, I served as Senior Adviser and Managing Partner at Palafox Associates, one of Asia’s most respected planning and architecture firms. I am a qualified urban planner in the UK (MRTPI), Philippines (PIEP) and Australia (MPIA) I have been an active member of ULI - serving on three advisory service panels (Sanya and Foshan, China and Detroit, Michigan), serving on the advisory board in the Philippines Council and a member of the Sydney District Council. I am currently a member of the Asia Pacific TOD and Infrastructure Council.
