Don Baarman

Biography: Donald L. Baarman Senior Vice President, Resort Development & Asset Management Marriott Vacations Worldwide Orlando, Florida Don Baarman is a thirty-three year veteran of the hospitality industry. He currently serves as Senior Vice President of Resort Development for Marriott Vacations Worldwide. Based at the company's corporate headquarters in Orlando, Florida, he has overall responsibility for acquisition and development of resorts in Western North America. Don has enjoyed a diverse career with Marriott International prior to the spin-off of Marriott Vacations Worldwide in November 2011. He worked in hotel operations, feasibility and resort development. During his career, he has been involved in all facets of resort development and real estate transactions. Don has been responsible for the development of numerous Marriott Vacation Club and The Ritz-Carlton Club resorts including some of the largest real estate transactions completed in Marriott Vacation Club’s history.
