Biography: Matt Bedsole serves as Director of the City of Atlanta's Housing Innovation Lab, where he leads a dynamic team of designers, architects, and policy experts pioneering solutions to Atlanta's housing crisis. Under his leadership, the Lab has transformed over $100 million in underutilized public land into vibrant mixed-income housing opportunities, while orchestrating the Mayor's Housing Strike Force initiatives across Atlanta's public agencies. A champion of innovative housing models, Matt architected the launch of the Atlanta Urban Development Corporation (AUDC), securing a groundbreaking $38 million Housing Production Fund and crafting sophisticated public-private financing structures that maximize affordability without federal subsidies.
