Biography:
Pam is a Board Member and Advisor, drawing on her financial investment experience across institutional real estate equity investment styles and property types. Recently retired from Barings as Managing Director and Head of Capital Strategies, she provides a current understanding of market dynamics along with a pragmatic approach to decision-making, and valued relationships within the institutional real estate community. Pam currently serves as a Board Member and Investment Committee Member for City of Hope, a world-class, nonprofit, cancer care institution. She is also an Independent Member of CBRE Investment Management’s Americas Direct Real Estate Investment Committee, which has responsibility for more than $20 billion of the firm’s $146 billion AUM, and she is a Senior Advisor to Ventas Investment Management, including the Ventas Life Science and Healthcare Real Estate Fund. During her years of client interface, portfolio management, transactions, asset management, development, and client advisory services with Barings, RREEF/DWS Group, Jones Lang LaSalle, and Equity Office Properties, Pam consistently outperformed benchmark returns, turned around underperforming assets, and led business development efforts to access large pools of capital. While at Barings, she was a member of the U.S. Equity Investment and Valuation Committees, overseeing approximately $11 billion in assets under management. As Managing Director at DWS Group/RREEF, Pam was lead portfolio manager for several public and corporate pension funds and President of RREEF America REIT, Inc., RREEF’s first flagship core private REIT. Pam holds an MBA in Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Madison and graduated summa cum laude with a BBA from the University of Wisconsin – Whitewater.
