David Cacciapaglia

Biography:
David Cacciapaglia is a Senior Vice President and Asset Management Officer at Clarion Partners. Based in Los Angeles, David is responsible for the asset management of 2.2 million square feet of office properties on the west coast. He rejoined Clarion Partners in 2020. Prior to Clarion, Dave was a Principal and Partner of Metropolitan Pacific which he joined in 2017. Dave was involved in all aspects of the Santa Monica based firm’s development, investment and third-party business. Prior to Metropolitan , Dave was a Managing Director with Guggenheim Partners where he was co-head and Investment Committee member of the real estate debt team, with responsibility for investment in private real estate debt, CMBS, CRE CDOs, and bespoke equity/debt/special situations. Prior to joining Guggenheim in 2013, Dave worked for Rockwood Capital from 2011 to 2013, where he was responsible for asset management of Rockwood’s portfolio in Southern California. Prior to Rockwood, Dave was employed for nine years by Clarion Partners, a real estate investment management firm. Over his time at Clarion, Dave worked in acquisitions, asset management and portfolio management, and across property types, US geography and investment risk profiles. Prior to joining Clarion, Dave was an Analyst in the Mergers and Acquisitions department of both Robertson Stephens and Appleby Capital. Dave received his BS in Finance from Boston College and an MBA from New York University. He is involved the Urban Land Institute (Vice-Chair of a Small-Scale Development council), NAIOP (member of the Young Professionals Group), and is a guest lecturer for real estate at Pepperdine University. Dave lives with his wife, son and two daughters in Pacific Palisades, California. Prior to his third child, Dave enjoyed trying to play golf, yoga, reading, and public market real estate value investing.
