Dana Getman
Biography: SHoP / New York, NY Principal, 2007-present Dana Getman is a registered architect at SHoP, leading some of the firm’s largest and most complex projects in New York City. She recently completed project management of 111 West 57th street, a 1400 foot tall terracotta and bronze supertall residential tower located adjacent to the original Steinway showroom overlooking Central Park. When completed, the tower will be the most slender occupiable building in the world, with a slenderness ratio of greater than 20:1. She headed the winning SHoP-led scheme for Essex Crossing, a 1.65 million sf master plan for the Seward Park Urban Renewal Area master plan and led the team during key phases of design and construction for the East River Waterfront including Pier 15 and the Esplanade.
