Biography:
Chris Hager Principal Langan Engineering Philadelphia, PA Chris Hager is a Principal with Langan Engineering & Environmental Services, headquartered in Parsippany, New Jersey. He joined Langan in 1994 and currently heads Langan’s Philadelphia office as well as the site/civil engineering and land development departments in Philadelphia. He has served both private and public-sector clients in land development and urban redevelopment throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, and abroad. Notable Philadelphia projects include the Hotel Monaco; Hotel Palomar; Race Street Pier and Connector; Saint Joseph’s University Streetscape, Retail and Garage; Herron Park; and the Lower Schuylkill River Master Plan. Other domestic and international projects include The Irish Hunger Memorial (Battery Park City, NY); the Glasshouses for Living Collections at The New York Botanical Garden (Bronx, NY); “Empty Sky” – New Jersey September 11th Memorial (Liberty State Park, NJ); Jersey Garden’s Mall (Elizabeth, NJ); Capital Improvement and Infrastructure Master Plan and Strategic Revitalization Plan (Camden, NJ); MetLife Stadium (East Rutherford, NJ); and Department of Defense Dependent Schools (Aviano, Italy and Rota, Spain). Chris is an active member of ULI locally and nationally. He currently sits on the Governance and Management Committees and is the Chair for Mission Advancement for the Philadelphia District Council. He serves on ULI’s national Urban Development & Mixed-Use Council, and is also a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and Chi Epsilon engineering honor society. Chris has a Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degree in civil engineering from Lehigh University and a Real Estate Certification from the Real Estate Institute at Monmouth University, New Jersey.
