Mark Huppert
Biography: Mark is a real estate consultant and business leader with over 25 years of experience advising and managing institutional, hospitality, and residential property development for clients and investors. His work has touched over $2.5 billion in real estate across the United States. Mark has a passion for improving the built environment and applies the Built Green, Energy Star and LEED rating systems to help clients minimize their carbon footprint and leave a positive environmental legacy. He has directed energy research and sustainability programs for the National Trust for Historic Preservation, the National Renewable Energy Laboratory, the U.S. Department of Energy, as well as public and privately-held corporations. He holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from UCLA and a joint MSc. in Construction Management and MBA from the University of Washington. He is a past management committee member of the Urban Land Institute's Northwest District Council and is a L.E.E.D. Accredited Professional of the U.S. Green Building Council.
