Mark Lanspa
Biography: Mark Lanspa is a Managing Director and Co-Head of the Hospitality Finance Group for the Commercial Real Estate group of Wells Fargo Bank’s Corporate and Investment Bank. As one of the nation’s leaders in the real estate industry, Wells Fargo provides a comprehensive platform of financial products and services to owners, operators and developers, real estate funds, and real estate investment trusts. Mark’s team provides debt products and financial services to leading funds and privately-owned hotel companies in the United States, the United Kingdom and Canada. Mark has more than 25 years of real estate finance experience and joined Wells Fargo in 2012. Previously, he was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, a Principal at Oasis Real Estate Partners, a real estate debt advisory firm, and held positions at Goldman Sachs and GE Capital. Mark is active in numerous professional and community organizations, including the Urban Land Institute, where he serves on the leadership of the Hotel Development Council, on the boards of the Real Estate Lenders Association, where he is a past president, and Mount Michael Benedictine School, Elkhorn, Nebraska, and is a trustee of God’s Love We Deliver, a New York City-based agency with a mission to improve the health and well-being of people living with serious illnesses by alleviating hunger and malnutrition. Mark holds a BS in accounting from Georgetown University and an MBA from Columbia Business School.
