Stephen Lekki

Biography: January 2023 Steve is a Managing Director at BGO within the portfolio management group. He serves as the Portfolio Manager on a $5 billion separate account with CalPERS, with a primary focus on Core Industrial properties in the U.S. Steve is a member of the Account's Investment Committee. Steve has over 33 years of experience in the real estate advisory business, with a range of experience including valuations, corporate real estate consulting, acquisitions and investment management. Prior to joining BGO in 2013, Steve held the position of Portfolio Manager and Director for RREEF, where he was responsible for developing the strategic direction and financial management of a $500 million portfolio of properties for CalPERS. Prior to his role there, Steve held senior postings at AMB Property Corporation (now Prologis) where he was responsible for establishing and growing the International Transactions Group and managing Domestic and International Global Separate Accounts for GIC. Steve holds a BA from the University of California at Los Angeles and is a member of the Urban Land Institute and NAIOP.
