Biography:
Daniel F. Musser Senior Vice President and Principal Zimmer Real Estate Services, L.C. Kansas City District Council Chair, Term: July 2009 to July 2011 Dan serves as director of Zimmer’s Development Management Group that provides development services to corporate, governmental, institutional, and not-for-profit clients, and is a member of the firm’s Executive Committee. Dan has a Bachelor of Architecture from Kansas State University, and a Master’s in Real Estate Development from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a board member of MainCor and Chair of the Architecture Advisory Committee at Kansas State University. Dan’s experience includes acting as owner’s representative for the Sprint World Headquarters Campus; project advisor to the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City for their new bank facility; master developer for the Beacon Hill and Columbus Park neighborhoods; and consultant to the cities of Kansas City, Saint Joseph, St. Louis, Missouri; Lenexa, Kansas and the Unified Government of Wyandotte County and Kansas City, Kansas. Additional project experience includes the following: In a partnership with CenterPoint Properties Trust, Zimmer is developer to the GSA for the new 1,500,000 square fiit NNSA National Security Campus to be located at Missouri 150 Highway and Botts Road in south Kansas City, Missouri. Additionally, Zimmer is Master Developer of Village West for the Unified Government. This 400-acre tourism, retail, and entertainment district is located in western Wyandotte County, adjacent to the Kansas Speedway. As Master Developer, Zimmer has represented the Unified Government’s interest throughout the planning, development, contract negotiations, and management of the District.
