Biography:
Hallie is an Urban Designer at LJC in St. Louis, MO. She joined LJC after four years as an architectural and urban designer at Trivers after receiving her Masters of Architecture and Masters of Urban Design from Washington University in December of 2018. While at Washington University, she served as Graduate Architecture Council President and Vice President of Student Engagement and held several research and teaching assistant positions. She was awarded the 2018 Graduate Student Award by the Association of Women Faculty, which recognizes academic excellence and leadership potential among women students. Hallie is also the 2019 recipient of the Alpha Rho Chi Medal, which is awarded to a graduating student who has demonstrated their ability for leadership and service and what they offer the future of the profession. While at Trivers Hallie founded and implemented the EDI Committee and Handbook as well as formalizing the Community (Workplace Culture) Committee. She serves as the Chair of Integration for the ULI Americas Young Leaders Group Steering Committee. She is also the Chair of the ULI St. Louis Young Leaders Group, ULI St. Louis REDI program Design Mentor and serves as St. Louis NOMA Chair of Marketing, Events, and Programming. She also serves as a board member of the American Planning Association St. Louis Metro Region (APA-STL), where she has recently joined the Public Advocacy Committee. A LEED Green Associate, Hallie is also on the path to becoming a licensed architect and certified planner. Hallie brings a passion for Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion to the A/E/C industry and how design plays a role in supporting equitable and just outcomes in St. Louis communities.
