J. John Reis

Biography: March 2005 J. John Reis President, EVS Realty Advisors, Inc. Career Summary Mr. Reis is President of EVS Realty Advisors. He is responsible for strategic direction of the company; client relations, supervision of the firm's staff and operations, including the management and leasing of the firm's 1.7 million square foot portfolio; brokerage and development of commercial properties. He has been active in the St. Louis commercial real estate market for the past 25 years and has a wealth of experience in leasing, acquisitions, development and management as a result of his involvement with high-profile CBD and suburban projects. Most notable among these projects are the 401,000-square-foot Gateway One building, the 340,000-square-foot 1010 Market Street building, the 375,000-square-foot One City Centre building, the 340,000-square-foot Interco Corporate Tower, the 435,000-square-foot One Financial Plaza and the 217,000-square-foot Gateway Tower building and the 227,000-square-foot Millennium Center. Before joining EVS Realty Advisors in July 2003, Mr. Reis spent seven years as Regional Director of the St. Louis office for Insignia/ESG where he was responsible for overseeing all of the firm's staff and operations in the St. Louis area. Other prior experience includes eight years as Vice President with Paragon Group supervising the firm's commercial real estate sales staff; and eight years with Cabot, Cabot & Forbes developing and leasing two high-rise office towers in Downtown St. Louis. His initial entry into commercial real estate was as a broker with Bakewell Corporation in 1977. Mr. Reis was also a Captain in the United States Army.
