Eleanor Sharpe

Biography: Eleanor Sharpe is the principal and founder of Sharpe Solutions: Cities, Places, and People, an esteemed planning consulting and advisory firm focused on bringing innovative approaches to urban development and community empowerment. Sharpe currently serves as Chief of Planning for the Office of the Council President of the City of Philadelphia. With a distinguished career spanning over a decade with the City of Philadelphia, Sharpe's prior position was as Interim Deputy Mayor/Director of the Department of Planning and Development. Prior to that Sharpe served as the Executive Director of the Philadelphia City Planning Commission from 2018-2024 and is known for launching the groundbreaking "Planning and Equity: A Commitment to Change" initiative, aimed at addressing historical injustices within the planning profession.
