He is a developer, construction manager and award-winning architect. He has been involved in the development of over 45 million square feet of retail and entertainment projects across the United States, Asia and Europe. In addition to actively leading development projects, Mr. Sisco has been a frequent advisor to opportunity funds, non-retail expert developers, and institutional owners, providing creative land development concepts that bring together the world of leasing, architecture, and land planning for value-added solutions. He is a “hands-on” authority in Mall and retail mixed use master planning, community relations, design/build management, development and tenant relations. He is an expert witness with expertise in Retail Shopping Centers, Department Stores and Cinemas representing Owner/Developer. Mr. Sisco has served as a development advisor for New England Development, now Simon Property Group (Northshore Mall, Peabody, Massachusetts; CambridgeSide Galleria, Cambridge Massachusetts, Liberty Tree Mall, Danvers, Massachusetts, Square One Mall, Saugus, Massachusetts, The Mall at Rockingham Park, New Hampshire). He has also advised Loew’s Cineplex Entertainment, now AMC Theaters (E Walk Times Square and Kips Bay Theaters, New York City) and Heritage Partners (Deerfoot Meadows Shopping Center, Calgary, Canada). Abroad, Mr. Sisco has developed state-of-the-art retail concepts for vertical malls, mixed use urban infill, and multiplex cinemas in China, South Korea, Japan, Spain, Italy and Canada. Education: He earned an M.B.A. from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University 1982, and a Master’s in Architecture from the Harvard University School of Design 1971. His B.A. is from Holy Cross College 1967. Moderator/Speaker for ULI & ICSC Convention: Mr. Sisco has moderated expert panels on regional Mall development, the emerging urban infill of large retail development, and trophy mixed use such as Hudson Yards, New York. Teaching: Mr. Sisco served as a Teaching Fellow in Visual & Environmental Studies, Carpenter Center for the Visual Arts, Harvard University. He has been an award judge for several international government projects including the Chonquing Opera House, Qhonquing, China with internationally recognized architect Ricardo Bofill.
