Daniel Walsh

Biography:
Daniel Walsh is the founder and CEO of Citymark Capital. Citymark Capital is a real estate private equity fund management company with expertise on investing in apartment properties and mixed use real estate projects in the top 50 markets in the United States. Prior to founding Citymark Capital, Daniel was President, Northeast Ohio for Huntington National Bank, joining the company in May 2010. Walsh’s responsibilities included management and oversight of all Huntington business activities in the Northeast Ohio metropolitan market. Huntington is a $100 billion bank headquartered in Columbus, Ohio. Prior to Huntington, Walsh was national head of KeyBank’s Real Estate Capital Markets businesses where he managed the Fund Management, CMBS, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA and Life Company whole loan placement businesses conducted by more than 200 professionals in 16 offices in major metropolitan areas across the US. In 2016, Walsh was appointed to the board of directors for the Cleveland Foundation by the administrative judge, 8th Ohio District Court of Appeals. Walsh also serves on the following boards: Destination Cleveland (current Chair); Cleveland Museum of Art (Building and Grounds Committee chair); Cleveland Orchestra; United Way of Greater Cleveland; Rock and Roll Hall of Fame; Playhouse Square (Chair, Real Estate Committee), and ideastream (Chair, Finance Committee). He received his B.A. in Management and MBA from the Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management in Cleveland, Ohio. Walsh also holds his Juris Doctor degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology Chicago-Kent College of Law, with a certification in environmental and energy law practice. Member Directory  Arrow
