Suzanne Flemming
Biography: Ms. Maddalon directs the company’s strategic marketing which includes overseeing market research, community branding and placemaking. Ms. Maddalon also develops Freehold’s comprehensive Vital Community™ approach, that distinguishes each community – including healthy living, engagement, connectivity, stewardship, and distinctive design. In this way, Ms. Maddalon has helped shape Freehold’s master-planned communities, including over 26,000 residential units – from their inception, through planning and construction, all the way to bringing them to market. Many of these communities have received national awards and recognition. Ms. Maddalon applies the same strategies to Freehold’s Build-to-Rent affiliate, 360 Communities™. Prior to her role at Freehold, Ms. Maddalon served as Senior Vice President at Lyon Communities, where she managed the company’s marketing, sales, training, and development of new mixed-use developments. Before joining Lyon, Ms. Maddalon led the Marketing and Research department at the Irvine Company as Senior Director. During her tenure at Irvine, Ms. Maddalon was directly responsible for the marketing and delivery of multiple award-winning master-planned communities that included more than 10,000 homes. Ms. Maddalon’s is an active member of Urban Land Institute and was recently honored as the National Marketing Professional as the “National Marketing Professional” of the Year by the National Association of Home Builders.
