Jean Chick

Biography: Jean is a Principal in Deloitte Consulting’s Real Estate & Location Strategy practice with over 25 years of experience. She is a leader in Deloitte’ Real Estate Transformation and Technology practice. She has previously led Deloitte’s Corporate Real Estate Group including all strategy, design, transaction management, facilities management and program management for North America and India. Under Jean’s leadership, Deloitte developed a real estate optimization strategy to yield a 59% reduction in occupancy cost as a percentage of revenue and a 46% reduction in net cost per person. Her Real Estate Services team implemented a Next Generation Workplace strategy in key markets and achieved 30-50% reductions in square footage, occupancy cost and efficiencies in facilities management, while implementing new workplace designs for future generations. Jean has navigated complex financial and operational issues while balancing change management and critical strategic considerations to maximize return on real estate investments.
